About this blog

Our aim is to cover some of the latest SCI research, including that funded by the charity. We’ll also be highlighting other relevant material, perhaps addressing myths and media hype and scares, and providing links to other helpful resources as appropriate.

The purpose of the blog is to inform rather than teach, hopefully in a fun (sometimes irreverent) way. Our highlighting of research through this site is not to be taken as a measure of importance or for that matter to be taken as endorsement of a particular treatment or research concept.
Please do leave comments. The whole purpose of this blog is to inform and engage in a dialogue about SCI research – any feedback you can give us to make the blog better is very welcome.

But please remember:
By commenting on this blog, you are agreeing to abide by our GBP (good blog practice). The key points are:
  • Please don’t post anything inappropriate that may upset, harass or embarrass any other person, or break any law
  • Please don’t post any medical advice on this blog, or accept any medical advice from other users
  • Spinal Research reserves the right to edit, delete, move or otherwise alter comments posted by users. We will try to avoid this if possible.

I hope you enjoy reading the blog.
